Lefso is actually more of a mixed logographic-abugida, Odinya majorly marks vowels (known as vowel dropping) instead of writing them out, with exceptions being the Odinye Exclusion Rule-a cultural nuance that causes all diacritics to become characters/modifier characters, all placed in succession to the base character.
