Tsols Oswahe: Phonology: Presence of Uncommon Consonants: Pharyngeals
This language has a voiceless pharyngeal fricative and a voiced pharyngeal approximant. The approximant is so classified in part due to its not patterning in the same way as other fricatives do with regards to word-initial allophones.
